Reesa Graham

A Texas native now working from New York City, Reesa has been in theater for over two-thirds of her life. She has previously worked her way around crew, both on and off-stage, before eventually focusing on directing. Reesa holds a Masters Degree in both Shakespeare and a second in Applied Theater. Her continuing work in Shakespeare has driven her exploration of his works through a feminist lens, culminating in a three-year project directing an all-female Shakespeare company in New York City.

Her theater-based activism has led to some of her favorite projects, including presenting at UN sessions with the United Nations' Working Group on Girls, several inter-generational theater projects, working on the ground in Rwanda in collaboration with the University of Rwanda in Theater for Reconciliation Project, and ongoing education and community building initiatives with Davenport Theatrical in Davenport Washington.
