This ticket gives fencing competitors and fencing students full access to the Tournament of Defense weekend.
All fencing tournaments and workshops will be held at Newman’s Castle. Pavilions will be in place to provide cover and shade against inclement weather.
Your ticket covers a sack lunch on Saturday, a seat at our Saturday night feast (period costume, evening attire or are suits encouraged but not required; live music provided by special guests The Piper Jones Band), Sunday morning light breakfast, and camping from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon. This ticket also allows you as much casual free fencing on the castle grounds as you like.
You will still be required to register for whichever tournament events in which you wish to participate.
If you plan to bring a guest and they wish to camp and attend the feast, they must purchase a General Admission ticket. If your guest only wishes to stay and watch the fencing tournaments, they must purchase the appropriate Spectator’s Pass.
